While our Papa De Rola Beans are grown here in the USA, these beautiful, striking beans come from Portugal and are used in recipes all over Latin America. They have a distinctive speckled tan/burgundy and cream hue, and are egg-shaped with a very mild flavor. This makes them an ideal bean to soak up sauces and sit in soups. Take advantage of their souper-soaker properties and try them in a Papa De Rola Beans Instant Pot recipe.

Fun Fact: Papa De Rola Beans are also known as “Dove’s Breast” beans. Considering the beans are speckled, dove-colored, and egg-shaped, the name seems fitting!
